Guida_AVP_ITA.jpegA handbook that is halfway between a guide and a reportage: the two authors, Mario Vianelli and Sandro Bassi, covered on foot the whole route and their narration has been enriched by outstanding pictures and interesting historical-environmental in depth studies. For each of the 27 stages you will also find a detailed description of the path, the topographic map and all the information on the stage services.

This guide is available for purchase for 18€ at the regional cartographic archive, the Parks Visitor Centers, the stage services and the main book shops.

The regional cartographic archive applies a 15% discount on the cover price to the employees of the Region, to the CAI associates and to the members of environmental associations (available only in Italian).

 

The authors

Mario Vianelli, lives in Bologna, photographer, journalist and writer, he dealth with culture and mountain environments by writing several touristic guides. He wrote “I portici di Bologna, Bologna. Una città si racconta” and, together with Giovanni Cenacchi, “Teatri di guerra sulle Dolomiti” (Oscar Mondadori). His pictures are also published in the volume  “Amen” (Oscar Mondadori).

Sandro Bassi, lives in Faenza, journalist and publisher, collaborates with several newspapers  and with the Museum of natural Sciences of  Faenza. He is an environmental and excursionistic guide of the Emilia-Romagna Region. Among his books, we cite the “A piedi in Emilia Romagna” (Iter Edizioni, 2003), and “Foreste sacre” (2008), un percorso nel Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi”, both co-written with Mario Vianelli.
