Information to authors
Languages
During the congress the official language will be English. On 12th June and only during the sessions “Soil: sealing and consumption” and “Soil and planning” (scheduled on 13th June) a simultaneous translation will be available.
Oral presentations
The time for oral presentation is 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. In order to facilitate coordination of the sessions, please make sure to deliver your presentation at least 30 minutes before the beginning of your session at the room where the session is scheduled. This will help us to doublecheck the audio-visual equipment necessary for your talk and also chairperson to obtain any missing information about the authors and the organization which their represent.
Each meeting room will be equipped with PC and beamer for PowerPoint Presentations and one overhead projector, too. A technician will be allocated to every room.
Poster presentations
Posters are planned on display for the time of the respective session (half day or all day). Poster presentation will be organized in each session by the respective Chairperson, please refer to the detailed programme of poster presentations for date.
Maximum poster dimensions are: 120 cm height and 90 cm width or A0.
The posters will be allocated in the room at the ground floor where a technician will be available for helping authors. Authors are responsible for hanging their own posters. Posters can be hanged every morning from 8.00 to 9.00 a.m and every afternoon from 1.00 to 2.00 p.m.. Other logistic and organizational information will be supplied at the Registration Desk during the Congress or by the technicians in the poster room.
Please do not forget to remove your poster after the end of your session. Posters not remowed in time will be kept at the Secretariat (meeting room E, first floor) until the end of Congress and then disposed of.
Authors interested in displaying their posters at the website of the Servizio Geologico Sismico e dei Suoli (http://ambiente.regione.emilia-romagna.it/geologia), have to give a copy of the pdf (10 Mbyte maximum) to the staff in the poster room and must sign a release for publication.
Streaming
Sessions hold in Room A will be broadcast live via the Web Video Center Lepida Spa, http://videocenter.lepida.it/videos/. Video recordings will be available online in the website of the Servizio Geologico Sismico e dei Suoli (http://ambiente.regione.emilia-romagna.it/geologia) once the authors have signed release for publication of their audio-video contributions.
Publication
The proceedings of the EUREGEO congress are available to the authors of oral and poster contributions at the registration desk. All the participants will receive the proceeding as a file *.pdf loaded in the USB key. Also it is planned to publish the proceedings on the website of the Servizio Geologico Sismico e dei Suoli of Regione Emilia-Romagna after the Congress.
Accepted abstracts (both for oral and poster sessions) will be published in a special volume once the obligatory registration fee has been received (receipt of payment of euro 120 by 15th April, 2012).
The special volume will be available for authors at the congress registration desk.
