Natural Reserves
Reserves are areas of limited extension in which natural and cultural heritage are preserved
Emilia-Romagna Region establishes the Regional Reserves through a specific act of the Regional Council.
Moreover, it can propose the establishment or extension of State Reserves.
Natural Reserves consist of territories of limited range; they are designed because of their regional relevance and they are managed in order to preserve their morphological, biological, ecological, scientific and cultural features and assets.
